Survey prices and getting a quote
As a rule of thumb, pre-purchase surveys are charged at £16 per foot of boat length if it's a GRP sailing yacht or simple powerboat under 40ft/12.2m. The exact price of a survey will depend on its scope (pre-purchase is more involved than insurance, forinstance), the size and the location of the boat.
